Founders TJ Hellmuth and Adam Lukens both grew up in
Cleveland Ohio, then went to colleges in Vermont, then finally
met while working on an independent television show in Vermont. Since then both have worked in a variety of crew
positions on some of New York’s most successful independent
films, picking up an intimate knowledge of how to make movies.
Both men where a lot of hats (and beards), but TJ Hellmuth is
generally a cinematographer, and a director. Adam Lukens
is a gaffer and producer.
